When the day's exploring has been done, of course, you can stock up on entirely local produce and cook a satisfying meal in the comfort of your very own kitchen – at any time of the day or night! Static caravans You don't have to be forever towing a caravan behind your car, of course, to enjoy the fund and adventure of a caravan holiday. If you rent or own a static caravan, your home away from home stays in the one spot, as a base for you to enjoy the freedom to explore the immediate vicinity yet still have somewhere, warm, dry and inviting to return to at the end of the day. Depending on the pitch occupied by your static caravan, moreover, there may be creature comforts that you do not generally enjoy at home – such as restaurants, bars, shops, on-site leisure centres, swimming pools and the like. Many holiday caravans are located in resorts such as these and may give you the best of both worlds – entertainment when you want it, but a home away from home when you choose to retire to your own space and tranquillity.
